Laguna Azul is a quiet sanctuary consisting of two separate villas Casa Capri and Casa Cocos with a shared blue lagoon and Grand Cabana area surrounded by lush tropical plants.

Casa Cocos is perfect for a relaxing family getaway or a romantic couple’s retreat. Spend lazy days lounging poolside then stroll along the beach enjoying stunning sunsets and soft volcanic sands.

Indoors
Casa Cocos is peaceful, welcoming, and newly remodeled to enhance the beauty of the natural surroundings. Rooms Include:

Master bedroom with king bed.
Living Room includes a well-stocked kitchen, large refrigerator and oven. The Living Room also includes a full-sized sleeper sofa and can act as a second bedroom.
Dining areas are both inside next to new smart TV or outside on the private patio.
Bathroom is well equipment with a large rain shower.
Starlink Wireless Internet is provided throughout property.

Outdoors
The entire property is surrounded by a tall concrete wall which creates privacy and security.
Parking spaces are located outside the wall next to the street and are monitored 24/7 by security cameras.
The private walkway from the entrance gate to the front of Casa Cocos is lined with beautiful indigenous plants.
The Grand Cabana is a shared space and can be accessed through the garden. It includes two swing chairs, a large two-person hammock (450lbs weight limit), a large dining table and separate sitting area.
55-inch Samsung TV can be used to stream movies or music. Connect your Android or Apple device to easily stream your own content.
BBQ area includes a large gas grill, sink and mini fridge perfect for outdoor entertaining.
Utility room is a shared space at the end of the lagoon with a washing machine and dryer.
Quiet hammock area beneath Guanacaste tree, includes outdoor shower area to rinse off.

You will share Laguna Azul with any guests of 1 bedroom 2 bed Casa Capri. Casa Cocos and Casa Capri can be booked together if you have a larger group.

Casa Cocos has a private entrance with its own large parking area outside the gate which is monitored by security cameras. The private walkway from the gate to the front of Casa Cocos is lined with trail lights and beautiful indigenous plants.

You will have access to the entire villa and adjacent patio to yourselves but will share the outdoor common areas including the pool, utility room and grand cabana with Casa Capri. Casa Capri is a 1 bedroom 2 bed villa which can be booked together with Casa Cocos if available.

There are many areas for quiet solitude and others to spend time together sharing the adventures of the day. Please be courteous of other guests using the outdoor space so everyone will be able to find their favorite spot and enjoy!

Playa Potrero is just minutes by car from the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica including Playa Flamingo, Conchal, Danta and Danita. You will also find many excellent restaurants, some needing reservations on busy nights. Multiple shops and supermarkets to do your shopping as well as local produce stands where you can find fresh fruits and vegetables every day. El Merkado Supermarket is a 2 min drive or 10 minute walk with a Drugstore right next door.

Among the restaurants recommendations are The Shack, Anita Coffee, Hemingway’s (at the Costa Rica Sailing Center) NASU (at the Bahía del Sol hotel) AJI-MAHI (Peruvian food), La Forquetta (recommended to reserve). Don’t forget to catch a sunset at Sentido Norte (need separate reservations one for sunset drinks and one for dinner). Keep in mind most restaurants offer delivery service.

You can walk, ride bikes, use public bus, rent a car or golf cart if you would like to explore. Let us know if you need help with this.

The neighborhood
Laguna Azul is just a quick two-minute walk to beautiful Playa Potrero beach. Across the bay is the world-famous Playa Flamingo and new marina with shops and restaurants.

Turning left out onto the beach and walking 10 minutes will get you to the many Surfside shops, bars, and restaurants. Playa Potrero has a great selection of places to eat and drink so you don’t have to go far to enjoy your evening.

Whether you're looking to relax or explore the wonders of the Nicoya Peninsula, Casa Cocos offers comfortable accommodations and easy access to adventure. With swaying palms overhead, the melody of songbirds in the air, you may find it hard to leave our tranquil retreat.
